Definitions are important.
Take the word, “Wisdom” it is “the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgment; the quality of being wise.”
And – “wise” – “having or showing experience, knowledge, and good judgment”
Now – one of the jokers on News24 likes to mix these definitions up until the words make no sense at all: His/her calling card is “Accepting God = Wisdom”. It’s not a moniker that’s not exactly catching on, but it’s repeated enough to be tiresome.
And – what he’s saying in the word ‘accepting’ is that:
1) Even though there is zero evidence for his position (that a god exists), and, more than that;
2) Even though his invisible friend, his god, has lost the formerly bragged-about assurance that the proof of his existence lies in complexity – complexity that the precision of scientific proof has concluded without shaddof of doubt is natural and not supernatural; With all god’s jurisdiction and every job assigned to this god over the past several thousand years now going to natural processes… until this god only has gaps so slim to existing in I’m tempted to say they are ‘quantum-ly’ slivers.
With all of these strikes against the existence of his invisible friend, our confused commentating friend still reckons it a good idea to claim a correlation between ‘accepting’-the-unnaceptable (i.e. delusion) and it’s direct opposite, ‘wisdom’.
Such is the stunted mind addled by fairytale.
We’re all allowed one folly – my hope is that my explanation above will help him stop making a kittycat out of his name any further. But with him, the hits do just keep on coming; so I don’t hold out much hope for learning.
Here was one of his latest utterings:
"(your) thinking (is) dulled by unbelief"
Wow… What a remarkably confused statement that is. Let’s pick it apart and turn it around to see what he’s trying to claim: "thinking is sharpened by belief"
What is "Belief”? To not get too wordy, and within context, it is that confused state an uniformed person is left to when they're too stupid or lazy to find an actual answer... "Belief" – is that impoverished statement that accompanies a lack of evidence.
So - Is it that lack of evidence, that ignorance, that lazy backwardness that is claimed here as somehow honing thinking? Surely not?!!
The only conclusion one can draw from such a statement is that the one making it has taken leave of their senses and/or is tragically under the influence of a mind virus.
