A Prayer for the New President In South Africa

20 March 2014, 13:58

A Prayer for the New President In South Africa

I am asking you to pray for our new President of the South Africa, CIC Julius Sello Malema, no matter who that might be. Now as we prepare for the Upcoming Elections of President Julius Malema, I ask all South African and African Churches in the World to join in the following from today, 20 March 2014 to 07 May 2014, It is my hope that every one of our 50 Million South African in Africa will include a time of prayer, and perhaps even use this prayer in their worship services. Thank you.

Let us pray.

Almighty God, we offer these prayers to You in the sure and certain knowledge that You are the One who rules the world. You alone deserve our ultimate allegiance and faith,

We pray with thankful hearts that we live in the Republic Of South Africa where we can help elect and select our President. We lament that too many people in the world do not live in such freedom, and we celebrate that we have the freedom to choose our political leaders.

Now as we anticipate the National Elections in voting for our new Political Party that represents our people and our new President, CIC Julius Sello Malema, we join with all people of good will in praying for him. We pray his safety and the safety of his family. We pray for wisdom and guidance for his administration. We pray for cooperation among all leaders, both EFF and all South African Political Parties, to work for the good of our nation. We pray for peace in our world and for the South Africa to be a leader in the ways of peace. And we pray that Your will may be done, through our new President and through all of us.

Almighty God, may our new President sense Your presence, Your power and Your wisdom as he makes decisions and conducts the administration of this nation. May he be guided by the same sense of a higher purpose that guided so many leaders before him. And may all of us be blessed with the fruit of faith, peace, love and joy.

We offer these prayers in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and our Savior. Amen.
