A Shot Through The Head...But Not From Cupid

14 February 2013, 09:50
Breaking News - Oscar Pistorius has shot and killed his girlfriend in the early hours of this morning, after allegedly mistaking her for a burglar.

Now I know that there are not many details yet, but in my view, if you think there is an intruder, don't you first threaten with your gun and find out what is going on before you shoot to kill? Also, if you know you have a girlfriend who can walk in and out at any given moment, why would you shoot?

I for one am going to be following this story like a hawk. There are so many questions. I shall not judge or throw anyone to the lions just yet, not until all the facts have been straightened out, but it does not seem normal for a successful man like Oscar Pistorius to commit a crime like this, unless it was an accident like he claims. If so, how is the poor man going to live with himself?

He will forever live in regret and hated for himself, and for the irreversible pain he has caused for the family of his girlfriend.
The poor woman was possibly just trying to surprise him for Valentines day. But instead of a shot of love through the heart, she received a shot of death through the head.

Happy Valentines Day.
