You want to know how it will be? I’ll tell you.
The heavens will open up, and blood will come raining down, until the rivers and the seas are overflowing with it. There’ll be plagues of frogs and gnats and flies, and fire will engulf the whole earth.
There’ll be comets falling from the heavens, and carving a path of destruction wherever they land, and people will cry out in agony. The earth will crack, the seas will boil, and nameless abominations will come crawling forth out of the slimy depths!
There’ll be plagues, there’ll be curses and people will stagger around as if drunk. The torment will continue and the water will flow through men’s houses. Floods will consume you, and your cries for help will go unheard, as the earth opens up and swallows you.
The mountains will split open and fire will rain down upon the people, and they will cry out, but no-one will hear their cry!
The rest of the night will be fine and warm, with a scattering of thundershowers in the north-east, and a beautiful day promised for tomorrow. And that's it for the weather.
And finally, there’s an old saying: old, but wise.
Never criticise a man till you’ve walked a mile in his shoes.
Because you’ll be a mile away, and you’ll have his shoes.
