In a society where the punishment for a crime is worth more than the break of law, where discipline is redefined by majority consensus, where life or the protection thereof is traded for spurts of pleasure, where role models are selected based on their “coolness” rather than their character, where personal identity is converted to the identity of acceptability, were war becomes a preference to peace, where profitability justifies poverty, where rebellious comments are labelled as free speech – something has got to change.
What has caused this decline of moral values? What has led us to a society that is likened to Sodom and Gomorrah? What answer will be provided to those that are destined to continue a legacy?
Is there a political solution? Was there a scientific prediction for this current state? Were we warned of this degenerative state? How could this be possible at a time where man knows more than ever before?
W. B. Yeats reaction to World War 1 was to be reminded of a Second Coming. An excerpt of his poem called “The Second Coming” rips apart the mindset of intelligent ignorance and begs for a replacement of wisdom. Intelligent ignorance is concluded by the fact that man recognises the existence of the wall, he sees the writing thereon, he comprehends the contents and deems it as insignificant or irrelevant when the collective evidence projects the contrary. A world of diminishing morals is a sign of a widening gap between GOD and man where the gap is initiated by man. A gap caused by continued sin of man and man’s continued denial of his Creator.
The vision of Daniel spoke about this. We were asked to watch because we do not know the day nor the hour wherein the SON of man cometh. These signs were spoken about through the ages. Do we continue to debate the warning signs or do we heed them? We prepare for a predicted weather condition although we know that the possibility of it being accurate is equal to the possibility of it being inaccurate. We unquestioningly follow the instructions of our medical practitioner. Yet we debate the real signs.
Today an offer is made to those that do not believe. The end of the world should not be the focus but rather a correct destination for our eternal souls. Today an offer is made so that one can make a calculated choice. What if the prophecy and the signs are true?
What if GOD’s plan for you is not a fairy tale? What if you choose this plan? What will you lose? Today an offer is being made. The offer is made in the absence of any form of duress. The offer made is an automatic act of love. It was made long before you were born and will be made for as long as man lives on earth. The offer is everlasting life through JESUS CHRIST. The response to this offer should not be a debate soaked with sarcasm but one of choice and the choice is yours.
