So, Oscar has been granted bail - a mild repreive. And yes, whilst Oscar's family get to have him at home, Reeva's family will never have her at home again.
We have been subject to a barrage of media stories the past 11 days and we are still no closer to knowing the truth. Everyone has an opinion, a theory, a story...
I still stand by my previous opinion that Oscar did not intend to committ cold blooded murder, and I hope to God I am right. That just for the public and his adoring fans, but for both families concerned.
Personally, I have proud od Oscar's achievements but have never been a "fan". However, there is something about this story that has touched me and I feel empathy for all concerned.
Certainly, I hope the truth comes out so that this may be laid to rest...even if we as a natiom never recover.
