A letter to fellow black citizens

19 July 2012, 13:27

Blacks, Why do we hate white people this much…….? What happened to unity in diversity?

What has my fellow white classmate done to deserve less than I get, why do we have to be cruel to him, give him no job and let him suffer just because his white. What has my white friend done so much that you deny him access to university that his forefathers introduced to our illiterate land, the same child that love Nelson Mandela so much and even represent south Africa in Olympic games. I say we need to stop this hatred that is so evil. As much as I know, this hatred that we have is nothing but jealous tendencies of people that do not want to work and are lazy yet claiming to own what they will not even be able to share with the rest of black. Let me say this to these NATINALISERS WANNA BES, if you want south Africa to be Zimbabwe get that groove going, because as much as I know, black men can’t lead a nation…Look at countries like Sierra Leone, countries like Kenya, Uganda and them counting….all these countries always wish they could be like our country right now that is why they keep coming to seek refuge the beautiful land we want to destroy with our shortcoming laziness. Whites in the south Africa today are not the problem, the leaders we are putting in power are the ones who are letting us down because they are taking all the money we want to have and keep it for themselves and children yet we want to puppet and say let’s vote for them. WE ARE HERE BUSY BLAMING MANDELA AND WHITES WHEN THE CORRUPTED LEADERS ARE BUSY exploiting us.

I write this letter to all black people of this beautiful land of South Africa. Being black and born in this country is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I write this letter with outmost pride of my skin color and joy to my black ancestors who walked this land. I do not apologize for being black; neither do I apologize for being born in this country. However, this letter seeks to make a national plea to the shame we black people are bringing to our land. We have lost touch with what I believe is our pride ‘unity in diversity’. We stand everyday on public podium and blame the past yet we busy creating the same past today. I was so disturbed by the letter written on this website by a claim-to-be writer who decides to wake up and insult people who have given us privilege and rights that we today live to use.

I grew up in a village, I saw my village develop with what I believe was a white’s man innovation. Is this hatred a matter of inferiority complexes, are we afraid to accept that white people are creative, innovative and more economically minded than most of us blacks…does this surprises us, I mean we got this economy and mines that we always hunger everyday through their discovery….it’s our land yes, but do we want our next generation to be born in a land where hatred and blood clouds over u just because we want to monopolize in the name of nationalization. The same supporters who are chanting nationalization are the same people who will be complaining in the future that these nationalized entities have become the common surname private entity, does this surprise us. We black voters stand and call for nationalization like we will get anything out of it. What different will it be because 18 years after democracy we still vote for the same corrupted leaders that feed their families and forget us who stand in long queues for the wealth gain.  I still say we need white people in this land because I know that their presence and expertise give value to this land.  I am not saying we need to pray white people, I am saying when are we should give them a chance and listen to them like we listen to our corrupt leaders governing us today atleast.

I do not want to say these but I fear that if TATA can pass away as we know that is a rite of passage, this land will turn into turmoil. We will see more death than we have ever seen in Africa, because we are harboring hatred against people that love our land and chose to stay with us.  I also plea to white people that please do know that love is a very difficult affection to show, but honestly most black people pretend to love you guys as much as u guys also pretend, especially if you are a successful white person living in a costly suburb. White people also should shape their thoughts about black people, we not baboons, we are competitors, we hold brains that think like yours, so don’t think you anyhow better than us black, meet us half way.

Any black person here that is saying they hate white people need to stop. There is no point engaging in the same racism that the few ignorant white people engage in. we need to stop and grow up. This ignorance that we blacks engage in keeps us as a community and race down. I admit after reading about our history and how SA came to really be. We need to stop. The reason black people hate white people are the same reason black people hate black people. WAKE UP.

White or black, we can stand and fight hatred in our communities.

Lastly can we please start voting for right leaders and stop voting because he is black, when are we going to use our experienced poverty to define the leaders that have failed us……
