Well, I think its common knowledge by now that world will be ending in 2012.
Based on my own research, I think that we're looking at either Wednesday this week (12/12/12) or Thursday next week (20/12/2012). Of course, we may only know which one it was until some time as passed, so don't cash in your life insurance just yet, lol!
Because, if you are familiar with the original Mayan writings, you will know that this will not be the end of the world ENTIRELY, but the end of the world AS WE KNOW IT. In other words, a NEW WORLD ORDER will be upon us. And believe that I know what this new world order will look like.
The seeds have already been planted in the minds of thinking persons who are not blinded by organised religion or the slavish adherence to scientific dogma.
Those of you with open minds already know of what I speak... you feel it too...
Some would call it anarchism, others would call it pacificism or traditionalism. Visionaries such as the late L. Ron Hubbard would no doubt have called it AN AWAKENING.
What are the most progressive societies in the world today? Two of the most well known are probably Somalia (no government) and the Amish community of Pennsylvania (no technology). This may seem counter-intuitive, but in fact the world is a circle or sphere, and so it makes sense that what goes around comes around.
Our future will be without technology or the interference of a controlling government, and will constitute small groups of persons that make there own rules in a traditional manner.
I am optimistic that this will be a change for the better, and am sure you would agree that emerging societies such as South Africa are well positioned to make the most of this transition - so long as we DO NOT TRY TO RESIST IT.
In the words of Sylvia Plath: we shall by morning inherit the earth.
Our foot's in the door.
