ANC Rocks Tlokwe

08 August 2013, 15:44

Contrary to popular opinion in opposition ranks the ANC has emerged tops in the Ward 9 by-election in the Tlokwe local municipality. The vacancy in the ward was created by an ANC councillor resigning to focus on his profession.

There are more vacancies declared after the ANC fired 14 of its councillors in the municipality who handed the municipality to the DA. By-elections will be conducted next month to fill these declared vancies.

The ANC victory in Ward 9 of Tlokwe and in other by-elections elsewhere in the country has set the stage for the restoration of the municipality to the rulling party.

By all accounts, the ANC is destined to easily romp home in Tlokwe and during the 2014 general elections. The DA controlled Wwestern Cape will also be restored to the ANC. What seals victory for the ANC is its mass base. The ANC is also deeply entrench in the hearts and minds of an overwhelming majority of South Africans.

The people of  Tlokwe and everywhere in the country want nothing else but their ANC. In return the ANC is doing everything within its powers to deliver a better life to all South Africans. The opposition on the other hand has nothing to offer the people of South Africa. All that the opposition wake up to do, is attack the ANC.

It is no suprise therefore to see the ANC rocking Tlokwe.
