Just imagine if the ANC government had done this: there are 1400 rural villages in SA so I am told, but lets just use this figure for an example. Now if the ANC had spent 1million Rand uplifting each rural village e.g.
Training a health worker from that village, trained a teacher from that village, trained a farmer from that village..built a dam so that that village could have running water in each hut or house!so on and so on...you get my drift!
Now it would have been a simple task to have a government representative visit each rural village at least once a year and get a report back to central government about what progress had been made, from the local village representative, where extra help was needed to further the upliftment of these rural people.
Would this not work I ask? Ok so what would it cost 14 billion rand a year over 17 years would equate to approximately 238billion rand pumped into the rural poor...come on people you could double that amount considering the tax collection that this ANC government has collected over 13 years, never mind what other possibilities you could create when people have plenty food, plenty water and good health i.e small rural industries...
Hhang on this sounds like England during the industrial revolution..why I ask WHY is it so hard to see what needs to be done..the only answer to this question is that the ANC has committed a crime against the people of SA !
