Abortion - It's the right thing to do.

23 June 2014, 20:30
Today I want to talk about abortion and the reasons more people should be using this very extreme method of birth control. As for birth control methods and their efficacy, abortion is the only one that works 100% of the time (We will exclude abstinence from our discussion as not having sex is not birth control, it is just not getting any).

To be sure that you understand I don't suggest we kill babies in the womb, I have done some research and the first trimester you are not killing babies but removing a parasite that will become an even bigger parasite given time.

In the first 10 weeks of any pregnancy identifying the cells as a baby are not at all possible, The pregnancy starts of as an amoeba, a simple cell that splits and splits again until at 12 weeks a foetus becomes recognisable, This is why legally most countries will allow an abortion up to the end of the first trimester. These are not babies just some cells that are being removed from the host.

Approximately 1.4 million women are treated for pregnancy in South Africa annually and only 1.1 million babies are born.Less than 36000 are aborted by human intervention. approximately 280 000 are miscarried naturally. Since the legalisation of abortion pregnant girls and women are not dying because of botched back alley abortions with coat hangers and the like.

Religion and abortion.

20% of all pregnancies end in miscarriage, This number could in fact be higher as some women miscarry before they are aware of the pregnancy. 85% of these miscarriages occur in the first trimester. The religious must know that their God is the single largest abortionist in the world, human abortion is only 15% of all abortions, God is responsible for 85% of all aborted foetuses.

This leads to the question, If we weren't supposed to abort babies, Why does God get a free pass? Furthermore 42 of every 1000 babies die after birth. God is not only an abortionist, he is murdering real live babies or the term I have heard used practicing post natal abortions.

The religious opposers of abortion seem to think that killing a few cells will lead to the killing of unwanted babies legally.

Luke 23:29 - For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed [are] the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

It seems that Luke gave birth to the idea that non breeders are blessed people, or was it his God?

5 excellent reasons for Abortion.

1. In a world with finite resources the world population has trebled from the 1950's to 2014, More than 7 billion people are currently alive on earth, At some point we will run out of resources like food and water, Already there are millions of starving babies in the world, We could have saved them from die-ing in agony by aborting them.
2. In a world with the technology to diagnose long term diseases like downs syndrome and others in the first trimester, surely it makes sense to remove these people that are unable to contribute to their own welfare in the first trimester?
3. In a world where we know that bad genes are inherited, crime and stupidity runs in families, surely it is kinder to abort these pregnancies.
4. In a world where women are subjected to violence, babies are conceived by rape victims, and grow up in households filled with hate, surely it would be kinder to abort?
5. Pregnant teenagers with their whole lives ahead of them, making an oops, surely it would be better to abort rather than have yet another person doomed to suffering and non achievement of goals?
On second thoughts maybe mass sterilisation of the stupid, the poor and the wicked should be mandatory, or at the very least a birth quota to be enforced.
