It was announced on the news this morning that the state servants will have an increase in their already fat salaries. With the state president going home with an estimate of R2.6 Million and his inferiors (Ministers) with an estimated amount of the R2 Million annually. Beating in your cleverness that this increase demand does not include their state allowances.
Are we as a country lacking ways to invest the state wealth? How can we throw so much on hungry political vultures? I mean these people failed to deliver textbooks for months and children have failed, is there anyone willing to take a blame for any wrongdoing in this country? Not MR President, who in his mind is doing his job with no defects, not a single Government minister is willing to take a blame.Instead they demand a salary increase? Is there any logical sense behind this foolishness? Or maybe I am running mad? Is this their 67 minutes maybe? Why ANC why?
I voted for this government because there is no strong opposition party that I can vote for. We need the youth to actively stand up, we need a new party that will be governed by the youth, we need a change and that change shall not come with the color of skin or rather race. We need leaders who can make the country happy even if they are corrupt, our needs will be put first.
As I was questioning this matter a friend of mine said, “It's a sad state of affairs when our leaders who claim to have sleepless night because of a growing division of those who have and have not while they themselves are accumulating massive wealth with OUR money. I for one will remember this administration as most direction less and lacking in leadership and decisiveness. I honestly pray for a better, well run and organized black consciousness opposition party to oppose this Animal Farm style political party the ANC has become.
I couldn't have said the above any better. They are having sleepless nights just to turn the country into a banana republic and if the public cannot see, they are bloody winning, well, they are the ones who vote at the end of the day. Once again I emphasize, we need a new party by the youth of SA and not vultures who split from the existing parties to form the so-called opposition parties like COPE...
If we allow our nation to be turned into a banana republic trust me we’ll see another Zimbabwe soon. It is up to us to change the situation, it is up to us to choose how we want the country to be governed, it is up to us to stop blaming the theid-apart era and work hard in accomplishing our dreams. It is up to the youth of today to secure a future for our children and grandchildren.
We need to crop of politicians or rather leaders who will put our needs at heart and trust me with the existing political parties none can do a better job. We are going to Mangaung soon (Where Former President Thabo Mbeki was taken down) don’t you hope the same strategy could be used to take down the current administration? Well, it is my biggest hope, we cannot have a president who’s blameless at all. We need a leader who can admit failures and correct them.
