Africa deserves better leaders.

28 March 2014, 14:06

Africa deserves better leaders.

In Africa the land of our gallant freedom fighters it is worth noting that African leaders in general don't serve the interest of their people rather that of the western imperialist and that of their families and friends.

Corruption is one of the serious chronic problems in African leadership, we see many democracies in the African countries collapsing because many African leaders don't show any sense of accountability and selflessness, and hence we see many leaders or liberation movements in governments falling very quickly like hail from the clear sky.

Many politicians in the African continent don't care about the developments of their own countries and the betterment of the native people of this continent, making them to directly benefiting from the struggle of those who fought for these democracies and its very obvious that these selfish African leaders that they lack democratic leadership and they have replaced that with tyrant leadership.

We see a lot these leaders abusing the gains of the hard earned freedom and subverting the will of the African people. A point in case; the current president of the republic of South Africa has built his family homestead / compound with the public money, over R200 Millions of public money was spent and he has abused state resources to abscond from the court of law, seeing him spending just above R 30 Million for his legal fees.  You can clearly see the intension of this kind of leadership is to turn these democracies into autocratic democracy.

Black man wakeup because you are on your own, Africa deserve new generation of leaders.
