There are times in life you want to forget some nagging thoughts or bad memories in your head and the more you try they just keep on coming back, it's like Malema's controversial ego, which the media keeps on publishing.
By doing this the media, is indirectly promoting Juju's howling and inadvertently perpetuating a platform for him to utter his derogatory words towards his "Elders" the patriarchs of the liberation movement and the nation. There are people in this world who have contributed a lot more towards the advancement and upliftment of our communities without uttering a word. The only thing our "hero" has done is to attend elegant parties in purple robes, in island beaches. Has he ever done anything to promote the welfare of our Youth, i guess not, correct me if i'm wrong?
The ANCYL should start prioritising on nation building strategies, and concentrate more on their mandates, and focus their efforts on positive issues, rather than create delusions amongst the youth. It is approaching end-of-the-year celebrations, has anyone from the youth stable thought about the little hungry children in Somalia, what about those households that are going to go hungry because the mother has passed away because she could not afford to pay for the ARV's, or those foreigners who wish to be united with their families, but can't because of such negative patriotism which eventually lead to civil wars.
I think we should end this year by restructuring our political agendas and concentrate more not on self-promoting ego's, but retire ourselves in those lovely beaches, with intent on advancing our youth towards moral and cultural valuable lessons, the spirit of "Ubuntu". Let's unite and work towards fulfilling the dreams of our children, our future, build iSizwe sase Africa(one United Africa) on solid grounds.
