Standing on my balcony in the evenings looking at Table Mountain, and the night lights of Cape Town, I feel so proud to be able to call myself a Capetonian.
Having travelled to Paris and Amsterdam, Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth, there is no comparison between how wonderful it is to live in the MOTHER city, the sights the sounds, the people the cultures are unique, and now you know why people don’t or can’t just stay in Cape Town for one nights it has to be 3 or 4 or more, there is so much to see to do to touch to feel.
We need to invest, more time more effort into experiencing our city for ourselves, and see that there is much more to our city then all the negativity we always hear about in the news.
I still have to see so much and do so much, but what I have seen and what I have done has been good, no I lie it was great the Castle, The Mountain, The Waterfront is just small things, Bo-Kaap, the Gardens, Adderley street and its Flower Market, The station, its all an adventure.
Cape Town I love you cause you are the city that everyone has to see, you are the city that all other cities want to be, you are the benchmark of TRAVEL in South Africa.
