Last week I made a spur of the moment decision, a rushed and inappropriate decision. Looking back now, I know it was wrong of me to do that, and so I’m here to apologise.
For the most part, those of us from differing camps across all views, enjoy the banter and debates that rage back and forth. I know I do. But taking cheap shots is wrong, and I shouldn’t have done so.
I was wrong.
My Friday faux pas was an inappropriate low blow which poked fun at the atheists’ misfortune during a time when what they really needed was support and friendship.
The deliberate cheap shot was a stupid rash decision, one of many that I continue to make in life that I know I should not have taken. The virtue of patience on my part is still very much a work in progress.
I was wrong.
As always, I expect to be lynched, although this time I feel the abuse is justified.
Once again, I am sorry.
