Anene Booysen I have never met you, the brutal rape and mutilation you had to endure has rocked the Nation. You showed great strength by staying alive for how long I don't know to name one of your rapists.
The pain and the agony you had to endure at the hands of the rabid scum is beyond words to express, no woman/child/elderly has to endure the brutality of a rapist, and I pray that your death is not in vain.
There is such an outcry from the Nation for your perpetrators to be given the harshest of sentences, the majority of us are wanting the death sentence to be reinstated.
To her Mom (condolences to you Mother), family, friends, the doctors, nurses and SAPS that had to witness the brutality of this young girl's wounds, I pray strength and comfort to each and every one of you - healing will take a very long time, as this is a very tough road that you all are facing, or had to witness.
To the Bredasdorp community that worked hand in hand with the police to make sure these men are arrested, a big thank you from us all.
To the rabid scum who committed such a brutal crime your judgement day has arrived, you will cry out for death.
To President Jacob Zuma the death penalty in this situation will be welcomed, no harsh sentence will bring peace to Anene's family, this time an eye for an eye is welcomed.
Reading some of the articles they broke her fingers and toes, what person in their right frame of mind, would sit and torture a person like that, did they not hear her screams to stop and yet they continued.
May you rest in peace Anene Booysen, and I hope that our voices never die down and that we will continue shouting at the top of our voices for the reinstatement of the death penalty in this country. We will stop when Government hears our cries.
