Another Assault to the Office of the Public Protector - SABC Board Chair

The Chairperson of the SABC Ellen Z. Tshabalala is in the position of Trust by the millions of South African population and the South Africans believes that she will act accordingly on behalf of the people. The manner that she has conducted herself in the case of the COO Mr. Hlaudi Motsoeneng one wonders if she is fit to guide the entire South Africans in the Corporation. I think she is so unfit to lead the employees of the Corporation too.

She is seen among the people or she is also among the people who constantly attacks the Office of the Public Protector. That alone it is a serious offence in the eyes of the South Africans. Her condust suggest that she must be on the payroll of the COO or she is not the representative of the people.

There are number of points that the Public Protector has highlited citing the seriousness of the problem in Corporate Governance the COO has undermine, whether willingly or due to the lack of knowledge, the very board that should be supporting the interest of the stakeholders (Tax Payers), the board is making the of Public Protector a loughing stock.

They should have called for  the special Board Meeting to deal with the matters concerning the company but instead they seemed to be nursing the feelings of Mr Motsoeneng. I therefore call for a vote of no confidence to the Chair and her Board, I call for the resignation for the entire board as they seemed to be lacking ethical conducts as well as they lack knowledge of their Fiduciary duties.
