Appeal to DA Voters

09 January 2014, 15:24
This is a simple appeal to DA Voters and Supporters. I have been reading through the website and policy proposals of the party. I must say I'm enjoying much of what I read and it sounds like the DA have some really good ideas. However, these beautiful gems are muddled in relatively grandiose English, and long prose about pretty simple issues.
I have a few recommendations and suggestions then:1. Summarize the information. Write it in very basic English and keep it as short as possible.2. Translate the information into other languages, start with the major languages like Xhosa and Zulu and move onto Afrikaans, Sotho and others.
I will try to assist in this regard, because I think that the brains behind DA policy are brilliant people who are trying to come up with realistic plans to help this country. I think that the most senior leaders are efficient and capable and have the will to execute this plan. However, there's a massive problem in the middle and they are threatening to sabotage the efforts of the hard-working folks at the Democratic Alliance.
Also, if you want to call me unintelligent for requesting this then it only speaks wonders about your own lack of understanding. If you go to democracies the world over, people are talking about 'getting folks back to work' and not some complicated string of words.
If you have time to go around shouting 'Phansi cANCer!' and talking about the showers at Nkandla, then for the sake of democracy take your fantastic education and do some good for the country.

Why I love Cambodia’s capital

There are so many reasons to hate Cambodia’s bite sized capital of Phnom Penh. Open sewers, naked children, piles of burning garbage on every street. Its a dirty, smelly, noisy amalgam. But Phnom Penh grows on you and by the time you leave it will occupy a special place in your heart. Read more...
