Are we in over our heads?

17 December 2013, 09:38

Mandela is dead! Been that way for a week now, but still every tv channel, radio channel and every newspaper has him in atleast their top 3 stories. The traffic is about him, the weather is even about him. Am I the only one to think they treating him like some ‘god’?

He was a human being just like each one of us. Yes he did lots for the country and the world but that doesn’t change the fact that there’s only one GOD. “Exodus 20:1-17 You shall have no other gods before me.” I rest my case.

Many even believe that he was a terrorist. He was on the U.S terrorist watch list till 2008. Contrary to what the media is telling you, Nelson Mandela wasn’t jailed merely for opposing the apartheid government of South Africa.  He was jailed to stop him from carrying out wide-scale terrorism on behalf of the global-communism-seeking Soviet Union.

“Mandela was imprisoned for conspiring and supporting acts of terrorism, mainly the blowing up of infrastructure (power lines) plotting to place bombs in public places (railway stations, etc.) and stockpiling weapons and explosives to carry out terrorist attacks.”

So is it fair for the wold to morn someone to such an extent that we can’t carry on will our daily lives?

The ANC are pulling out all the stops and using him in all their campaigns to win next years’ election. So are you voting for a dead person? They haven’t been the same since he stepped down and there’s no sign that they do anything good for the country.

“the world has rid itself of another Nobel Peace Prize winner whose loss makes me breathe a sigh not of grief, but of relief.” I think these words are truer than anything the media has been rubbing off on the public for the last gruesome dull week of my live.

Peace!
