Are white Afrikaners racist?.

04 January 2014, 09:19

How is it that the world has totally called it wrong as far as the attitude of white Afrikaner South Africans is concerned? They have been called racists, white supremacists and elitists by every white nation of the world or should I say every white dominated country in the Western world. If I am correct every ex-colony had far larger white populations during the colonial era. In some cases the white populations of these colonies was quite large, for instance European percentage peaks from total population during the colonial era have dropped significantly![23]

Why is it then that the white people of South Africa have mainly stayed in Africa even after the changing of the guard took place, visa via the election of a majority black African government? Most importantly it begs the question why have they been branded racists when they choose to stay in Africa as opposed to their expat European counterparts who fled African rule?

A voluntary exodus of colonials accompanied most African nations after independence.[18] Some, including the Belgians in Burundi, were blatantly expelled by post-colonial governments.[19] Portuguese Mozambicans, who numbered about 200,000 in 1975,[20] departed en masse because of economic policies directed against their wealth;[21] they now number fewer than 50,000.[5] In Zimbabwe, white flight was spurred by an aggressive land reform programme introduced by President Robert Mugabe and the resulting economic misfortune.[15]

The African country with the largest White African population of European descent both numerically and proportionally is South Africa, at approximately 4.6 million (9.2% of the population).[22] Although White Africans no longer have the exclusive rule of single nations, they still hold a substantial ownership of the economy and land in specific nations.

The facts and figures shown in the two paragraphs above are from Wikipedia

Surely it is a racist who cannot contemplate living amongst African people, not those who do live here in Africa. The white racists of South Africa make up +- 88 percent of all the white Europeans who live present day in Africa, making their homes, their careers and their futures here ! Are they all here only because life  is easier, they are richer and BBBEE and Affirmative action are just a few of the daily insults they have to bear, especially the younger generation who were born post 1994 or even post 1989 and who cannot possibly be held accountable for what their parents might have done under Apartheid.

Perhaps German people should pay a special tax to compensate the rest of the world for what their country did from 1939 to 1945 and not be allowed to own any major international corporations?

Something is askew regarding how the world deals with moral issues and white South Africans are just the latest scapegoats for a morally bankrupt and despairing international community, who have not the slightest idea how to approach the 21st century?

I also ask the question: Why have so few White Europeans ever immigrated to Africa don’t they like living amongst Africans? So then who are the real white racists? The Afrikaner people who take their roots mainly from the French, Belgium, Dutch and German people of Western Europe came here to stay, not like the rest of European immigration, to only profit. Even today these white racists are still here! Pity they don’t get any acknowledgement from their African peers is the only conclusion that can be arrived at, not how racists they are!
