Atheism vs Christianity: You all need to shut up for once

08 May 2013, 12:05

For the benefit of all readers and writers involved on this forum, I will try to use the simplest of all ways to explain this. I will sideline the BIG words you all often employ, and opt for the rather ‘layman’ way of speaking so we can all understand this.

There is no better way of putting it. Honestly, I’m just tired of this never ending cat fight you all have been engaging in. Ever since I joined this forum, there is never a single day where I read articles here and don’t come across a piece where one is trying to prove he knows the world better than the other. Some of the arguments are so lame, even a kid in third grade would have a good laugh if one was to explain what you all are arguing about.

I won’t act like I know where the world came from. I have my own assumptions, theories and whatever I believe in. But for most of you to act like you know any better than the other, it’s not only stupid, but it proves how ignorant one is.

The world is one complicated, unique and yet such a beautiful occurrence. If you believe it was a result of chemical reaction, evolution, an explosion somewhere in the universe, then so be it. But trying to make me believe your assumption and theory is the correct one just doesn’t make sense. YOU WERE NOT THERE, and neither was I. We are all relying on what someone assumed, explored and penned down over years. Whether they are lying or not, who knows?

Even for Christians; there is no need to walk into a wall because an Atheist does not believe in God. Doesn’t the bible tell you that some will believe and some will not? Why then take it as an insult for someone not to believe in God.

This forum has been destroyed because of this religious/atheism fighting that is going on. It’s not as active as it used to be. It’s so predictable like sunrise and sunset.

I’m just fed up of people trying to prove they are knowledgeable than the other. In all truthfulness, a human being will never know everything, no matter how hard you try to educate, liberate and push yourself. The world is diverse and thus humans/flora/fauna interaction and reliance comes natural. One needs the other. That’s what life is all about to me.

Anyway, as I have mentioned, I won’t expect you all to accept my article as truth, as many have not accepted the Bible as the book of life. Same applies to Christians, who have disregarded any scientific explanation of how the world came to be. That to me is just life. We will always differ in opinions and way of thinking. So, why cut each other’s throats because of that?

With that said, I would appreciate to see some positive work and pieces from all you talented writers. Trust me, I won’t argue with you if you think you are not.

Good day to you all. But remember; let’s turn this forum back to what It used to be
