Atheists Know This Already
Premise 1
Atheists do not believe in the supernatural and that is because they maintain that there is no proof for the supernatural.
Premise 2
Atheists at face value will defend laws of science. They have to because their argument against the supernatural is justified by science.
This means that the scientific law of cause and effect is upheld. They will say that this law further proves the non-existence of GOD. The reason is simple in its logic. If GOD exists, what caused GOD?
However, this argument in itself is defeating. Why? The answer is simple and logical and nothing circular about it as well.
If GOD does not exist, therefore HE could not have been the cause of the existence of the universe. Their alternative is the Big Bang Theory or the Big Bounce Theory or the combination of both. It depends on who you ask.
Creationists believe that GOD created the Heavens and the Earth and Creationists believe that GOD created man as man is and creationists does not believe that man evolved from something else.
Atheists believe that every living thing was evolved from something else. Some say a particle; some say a single cell organism etc.
Now for Cause and Effect Law- what caused that particle (even if you call it a virtual particle)? What did the Big Bang bang from? What caused that? What caused the single cell organism? IF you go with Big Bounce (infinite universe) then there is no cause yet we have effect.
I ask atheists to please help me here. The law of Cause and Effect hangs in the balance.
You do not believe in GOD because how can you have something uncaused. What is GOD’s cause?
Please help me with my ignorance. What caused that something that caused the universe? What caused that something that caused life?
My appeal to some atheists is that you just respond to the questions posed. Please refrain from sarcasm and other forms of negative comments. Let’s just offer comments that can add value to the questions posed in this article.
Yes, I know that you have been asked these questions before. However, I still did not find satisfactory answers. I could be helping your cause in upholding the law of cause and effect.
