Away in a Manger, The little lord...

30 June 2014, 14:27
Krishna was born 2000 years before Christ. Let's look into the life of Krishna.
Krishna was sent to earth from heaven with the purpose of allowing good to triumph over evil, His adoptive Daddy was a carpenter, His real father was a spook, He was of Royal descent and his birth was attended by wise men and shepherds whom were guided by a star. He was born in a city that his father visited to pay taxes to the King. Angels visited with a warning that the local dictator wanted to kill him, Krishna's parents fled to Mathura.
Christ was sent to earth from heaven with the purpose of allowing good to triumph over evil, His adoptive Daddy was a carpenter, His real father was a spook, He was of Royal descent and his birth was attended by wise men and shepherds whom were guided by a star. He was born in a city that his father visited to be included in a census (for taxation?) to the King. Angels visited with a warning that the local dictator wanted to kill him, Baby Jesus parents fled to Muturea.
Eerie, I needed to change three words in that paragraph to differentiate Christ and Krishna. Let's continue with the tale of Krishna, Krishna was sent from heaven in the form of a man, He was the Son of God, was the second person in a holy trinity. He withdrew into the wilderness to fast, was without sin, performed miracles, one of which was the leper being made whole, cast out demons, raised the dead and cured all manner of diseases. He had disciples to help spread his message. We could rewrite this paragraph as is without changing anything but the name.
Krishna was meek and merciful, He was criticized for dallying with sinners, He encountered a gentile woman at a well. Krishna taught his followers that there was a reward in heaven, a punishment in Hell, A day of judgement, a general resurrection, the need for repentance, a belief in angels and evil spirits, the belief that disease was caused by evil spirits. Salvation requires faith in the Saviour. He talks of the blind leading the blind, free will, a new heaven and a new earth, living water, being born again.
At the end he celebrated a last supper, was killed and his body hung in a tree, He forgave his enemies, decended into Hell and was resurrected, Many witnessed his ascension into heaven.
Is it just me or is the story so eerily similar, that they could have been twins? or was the myth of Jesus plagiarized fom the Hindu's?
