BEE's and Politicians

04 February 2013, 10:00
Health 24 provided a good piece on how to survive a bee swarm and I thought and asked myself this question, how different is the politician swarm from the bee swarm?

Get out of the way VS Get out of the politician way"Bees don’t actually particularly want to sting humans. The act of stinging kills the bee after all". Politicians don't necessarily want to push corruption by staling from the people, the fact of accepting a cheque from the Guptas will, make them be invisible from accepting bribes.

Well until they are exposed by the new age.Get under cover VS  I mean really run awayGet under cover fast. Going indoors is best, but failing that get into a car or a tent, or cover yourself with a blanket or clothing – especially exposed areas of skin. Get protection from Mamphela's new political party fast. By running to COPE, your skin will be exposed especially with Lekota campaigning every morning on radio 702 ? hmmm!

When running away from a swarm, try to run in a straight line, and keep your face as well covered as possible. When running away from Zille, Maimane and Mazibuko, make sure you don't try the ANC then Boeremaag back to the Afriforum with COPE in your mind. Run straight to Mamphela Ramphele and keep calling Steve Biko  in your heart for good luck.Don’t hit bees! vs You will be taking chancesEven when the swarm is passing by, stay calm and still.

Don’t hit out at the bees or attempt to "shoo" them away. Even when when Zille is campaigning in your loction, SOWETO,Kwa Mashu , do not "shoo" her, stay calm and still, don't hit out. Remember what happened when they were matching to the ANC head quarters? you will be stoned or bricked. There’s an unfortunate pheromonal chain reaction that occurs: if a bee stings, it releases chemicals that then trigger stinging in its mates. When one politician goes to the Guptas, there's a pheromonal reaction that occurs, you see all of them going for the same cookie jar and forget to wipe their mouth clean afterwards.

Dealing with stings VS dealing with the politician stingsOnce you’ve escaped the main onslaught of the hive, remove any stings as soon as possible. The best way to remove them is to scrape them off using an implement like a butter knife or a credit card. Misleading ,with a credit card?  you scrape them off with the Gupta cheque, man. And later ask for the Gupta investigation on the breakfast funding, just to hide your venomous fangs. How to avoid the problem in the first place VS How to avoid the DADon’t bother bees.  Call in the professional bee handlers.Mamphela Ramphele in my mind, might rescue us. She was the rector of UCT after all.
