Back of Ports plan
As a community member of one of the many affected communities the back of ports plan I for one know that we will NEVER accept this plan. I am from Clairwood, and I have full confidence that the affected communities of Bluff, Clairwood, Wentworth, Jacobs, Congella and Merebank will not take this hands-down! The Ruling party of this country will never be in power for the rest of time if they remove hundreds of people from their homes which they lived in all their lives. Clairwood is full of history and culture and as a young person who was born in Clairwood I will never sell out. There are more important things than greed!
Communities are going to stand as one and revolt! The ruling party of this country is going to lose big if they go through with this (which we won’t allow in anyway). This plan has brought out a whole lot of hate and resentment for all those involved in this plan especially the government of South Africa...so remember after this there will be no more votes. Black, white, Indian and Coloured will all stand together. There are a lot of people who are passionate about their areas and this passion is going to help us win!
We are not going to back down! Not ever! So those that think they can over-power and try and paint a different picture to those who can’t understand... think again! There are a lot of people who will not allow you to do that!
The Government is infringing on our Human Rights! If this is how things are going to be then you are not any better than our previous rulers! People need to stand together and fight for what is ours! Being in this community for 22 years and my family even more I for one will not stand for this plan.
