Becoming Batty......

13 March 2014, 07:18
The question we need to ask, did the strike of the cricket bat by Vermeulen sound like a gun shot...and if so why was this not measured on a decimeter and compared to a 9mm shot and especially a mean caliber slug that was used to kill the victim.

The next question that needs to be answered is as to whether the defendant had the ability to knock a door down or in whilst not being fully balanced, personally I find this hard to believe...I am also baffled by the fact that this cricket bat was close at hand.

An autographed bat, usually is placed on display in ones pub, which I am sure by the character descriptions that have been given by many of the witnesses so far seem to indicate that this guy enjoyed a good party.

If the gun was under his bed, and was easily accessible by simply reaching down with his arm without having to tilt his body at an angle to reach for it, and at the same time there must have been some light coming in from the balcony doors, that this would have surely shown him that the victim was not in bed with him.

It seems to me that the defendant needs to be assessed for paranoia as he has a whole arsenal of weapons at his immediate disposal in the event of a possible intruder entering his property in this highly secure estate.I researched this estate among a number of Real Estate Agencies in the area and there has been little or no crime in this estate, petty yes as there is always is when homes are being built, but nothing of significance.

How quickly does it take the defendant to slip on his prosthetic legs...I do not believe that this takes only a few seconds...perhaps a couple of minutes...purely speculation. Lastly was there a keyhole in the door?Somebody here is becoming batty!
