Believers and Unbelievers

I see another headline going on about "Gods People", I do not bother to open or read the article, it is probably written by some unbeliever who again is taking a swipe of those of us who do believe.

I wonder why it is that such persons are so intent on deriding the Christian religeon?  Surely it is simply a case of you either believe or you don't, and whatever your choice is it remains your choice and you should not have to defend your stance either way?  By now all learned persons know what the choices are and the consequences of believing or not believing are yours to ignore or otherwise.  I leave this at that.
