Beware of the dog, by goverment

04 February 2013, 13:00

This common message is found in dog owners yard as they use this centuries old message to warn, intimidate and scare of potential thief’ and unwanted visitor, this message is now being used in politics in a different form to warn, intimidate and scare of the public, the media and  the courts

In recent times the government of South Africa under Jacob Zuma has used warning messages similar to the one used by dog owners to warn, intimidate and scare off the general public, the media and the courts

When we are old that 209 million of our tax money did not built houses for one man and that the money was instead used for security upgrades and that the report will not be made public due to the place being called ‘a national key point’ then beware of the dog ,by government

When laws like the protection of information act is being tailor made so to suit certain people who has an unexplained history of corruption then ‘beware of dog by government’

When the courts of South Africa are constantly under threat from the ruling and said to have allowed ghosts of the past to govern the country with the help of the courts, and that the constitution will be reviewed then, beware of the dog, by government

When we are told that certain places are ‘key national points’ and no further question may not be asked about the cost and importance of this places then ‘beware of the dog by government’

When we are told that ministers have certain privileges and that these privileges are written in a classified document called the ministerial handbook and no one is allowed to see the content of this handbook then ‘beware of dog by government’

When a court of South Africa orders the president of the country to release tapes that allowed him not to answer for 783 counts of corruption and the tapes are classified as top secret then ‘beware of dog by government’

When kids in Limpopo do not receive textbooks and that they are over 900 mud schools and that no one is held accountable for this crime then ‘beware of dog ,by government

When half the people in the country are living under poverty and 20 kids of the president will continue to get a proper meal, education, security and other privileges then ‘beware of dog by government
