RSA where goest thou?

18 November 2010, 12:43  - Egon Kramer
I am a South African living offshore. I love my homeland but detest godless man’s inhumanity to man taking place there.

We see documentaries which do not see the light of day in South Africa revealing the wrongs perpetrated by Queen Victoria’s and her predecessor’s colonial forces in diverse lands during the colonial era long ago as well as the wrongs committed by her cousin the German Kaiser in his day.

I will say nothing about the wrongs committed by Americans against the indigenous people in America and what goes on in the Middle East. The past has been violent globally to this very day in effect violence was committed by non democratic systems.

Is South Africa really a democratic society, or democratic only by name like the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the former Democratic Republic of East Germany? Does the Democratic Republic of South Africa ring a bell is it only democratic by name?

From what I glean in the RSA media, violence against whites and many blacks is now being covertly condoned. Now the ANC democratic government is working at muzzling the free press. What next?

Two wrongs don’t make a right in this modern day ANC democratic society. The wrong generation in South Africa today is being punished by the legacy of the past and does not know it.

This present generation is not part of Queen Victoria’s and her predecessor’s colonial forces in diverse lands during the colonial era long ago and not part of the German Kaiser’s forces either.
Will the free press get the truth out?

I quote Abraham Lincoln in his day:

"You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot help small men by tearing down big men.
You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot help the wage earner by pulling down the wage payer.
You cannot keep out of trouble by spending more than your income.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot establish security on borrowed money.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away a man’s initiative and independence.
You cannot help men permanently by doing for them what they could and should do for themselves."

In the name of justice please get the full truth out and stop the evil violence which is destroying the fabric of the tax payer base in South Africa.

I will sign off as, Qou Vadis my dear homeland, where goest thou?
