Having read a great many articles and comments on this site form both theists and atheists, I would like to enter into the fray with a series of articles that I hope will heat up the debate a couple of thousand degrees Celsius.
The basic reference manual for Christianity is the bible. They believe the bible to be the infallible word of God. According to Christians God went to great trouble over many centuries through many translations to ensure that the exact correct message is being conveyed in every single language the bible is translated into.
To start us off, a few basic Christian concepts, beliefs and doctrine:
• God consist of 3 separate but unified entities: the Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit.
• God is love.
• God is spirit.
• God is omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent.
• God is righteous, kind and forgiving.
• God loves the world so much he killed his only Son...Jesus.
• Humans cannot talk to God directly. All communication has to go through His Son...Jesus.
• Jesus loves you.
• Jesus heals.
• Jesus saves.
• Jesus died for you.
• Jesus died for your sins.
• Jesus rose from the dead.
• Jesus went up to heaven.
• Jesus will come back to judge the believers and unbelievers. All unbelievers will go to hell...forever and ever. All believers will go to heaven...forever.
• Upon breathing your last breath you are IMMEDIATELY judged and go straight to heaven or hell.
• You must be born again to enter into heaven. If not...you go straight to hell...forever and ever.
• You have to be baptized to be saved. If not...you go straight to hell...forever and ever.
• You have to receive The Holy Spirit. You will speak in strange languages once you received the Holy Spirit. No tongues...no Holy Spirit.
• Supernatural healing through the “laying on of hands”.
• God created a “super angel” that was so fantastic he fell in love with himself. This Angel, Lucifer, deceived one third of the angels in heaven and God got so upset he kicked the lot out of heaven. These angels then became the devil and his demons. Subsequent to this “war in heaven”, God created human beings as the “crown of His creation”. Lucifer and his demons became so jealous of humans that their whole existence turned into one mission: destroy all humans.
• Roman Catholics are not Christians.
• Homosexuals are deviants and freaks, possessed by demons and in need of "deliverance" (Romans 1:24 – 28)
• Black people are of an inferior race and are considered barely human. They are generally considered among Christians as slaves, and in South Africa the “princes” (white men) are on foot while the “slaves” (black men) are riding on horses (Ecclesiastes 10:5 – 7).
Over the course of the next few weeks, I will publish a series of Bible studies mainly to entertain atheists and other degenerates like myself, but also to educate Christians and hopefully enlighten a few. I will use ONLY the Bible (in conjunction with a Concordance & Greek/Hebrew Lexicon) to disprove the existence of God, to prove the incorrectness of the Bible itself and of course...slay the Christian hoax of heaven, hell and the born again experience. Please note...I will use ONLY the bible. No external writings by anybody will be referenced or quoted. Everything you read is my own work. No copying and pasting except bible verses.
Although initially it might appear to some that I am a Christian, I am not. I do not believe in the existence of a god. I studied the bible over many years in the hope of finding answers for “deep” questions within me, but the more I searched and hung out with Christians, the more I was utterly convinced there is no god. I am 100% convinced that Christianity is the furthest ideology from the truth. It is devoid of all reality, truth and plain common sense. It is a religion based entirely on hearsay, superstition, fantasy and fear.
I do not hate god. I can not hate "nothing". I truly believe there is no magical invisible being somewhere in the universe that controls every aspect of every human life on planet earth. I do not hate Christians either. I have many friends that are Christians. They are wonderful people and I respect their views. Some of them do not respect mine, but that does not change who I am. It makes them judgmental...and as such not open to be educated.
During these bible studies I will attempt to slay all Christian hoaxes using only the bible. I might fail to slay ALL hoaxes, as no man is that clever. But definitely some will be exposed as pure blatant lies design to enslave people.
So, let's quickly kill the Christian God, and then get to the rest.
Christians believe in a Trinity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are one, yet separate entities.
How do Christians get to this?
Well, initially, in the Old Testament, there is only one god. He keeps on referring to himself as “us”, but no mention is ever made of any “other” entity as part of this “god” or “us” concept. He definitely is a single entity and even says so himself in Deuteronomy 32:39 (AMP) - See now that I, I am He, and there is no god beside Me; I kill and I make alive, I wound and I heal, and there is none who can deliver out of My hand. This god always operates as one (1) but keeps on referring to itself as “us”. He is definitely not female, as it is stated very clearly he is male (Jesus refers to him as his Father).
Then, in the New Testament, things change. A guy rocks up and claims to be the Son of God, so now all of a sudden there are at least two (2) of them. The third entity is indeed mentioned in the Bible (The Holy Spirit), and his existence is being enforced by the teachings of a charlatan by the name of Benny Hinn, who was severely influenced and brainwashed by a woman named Kathryn Kuhlman. This third entity (The Holy Spirit) arrives on the scene after the second one (Jesus) disappears in a cloud. So, strictly speaking there are only two (2) again, but let us humour ourselves. We will get rid of Jesus later. He can stay for now. We still need him for a while to expose more lies.
Some verses in the Bible being quoted by Christians to justify the existence of a trinity.
Matthew 28:18-20 (AMP) - Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."
1 John 5:7 - "For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one."
Now, here is where the trouble starts. Christian theologians, translators and historians (secular and Christian alike) agree that Matthew 28:18-20 does not appear in many ancient manuscripts. These verses appear in only a few manuscripts, but even the validity of these manuscripts is questionable. So, according to “common sense” principles supported by scholarly principles, these verses should not even be in the bible. The same for 1 John 5:7 - the words "in heaven" appear in so few manuscripts that scholars agree it was tampered with to include the "in heaven" part. OK, so the Bible has been tampered with. Verses were written in centuries later distorting the original text. So much for God and His omnipotence in trying to protect the accuracy of the Bible. So, for all intents and purposes, Matthew 28:18-20 & 1 John 5:7 MUST be discarded from any further arguments, as they are not part of the bible.
Now that this line of defence is blown out of the water, Christians will certainly jump to the following verses to justify the existence of the Holy Spirit:
John 14:16-17 (AMP) - And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever, The Spirit of Truth, Whom the world cannot receive (welcome, take to its heart), because it does not see Him or know and recognize Him. But you know and recognize Him, for He lives with you [constantly] and will be in you.
John 14:26 (AMP) - But the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, Standby), the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf], He will teach you all things. And He will cause you to recall (will remind you of, bring to your remembrance) everything I have told you.
And I need to add the following verse for purposes which will be explained soon.
1 John 2:1 (AMP) - My little children, I write you these things so that you may not violate God’s law and sin. But if anyone should sin, we have an Advocate (One Who will intercede for us) with the Father—[it is] Jesus Christ [the all] righteous [upright, just, Who conforms to the Father’s will in every purpose, thought, and action].
In a Greek Concordance, these verses can be cross referenced to see the original words being used. The word "comforter" in John 14:16 and John 14:26 is EXACTLY the same Greek word "parakletos" that is translated in 1 John 2:1 as "advocate". Thus, Jesus is referring to HIMSELF as being the "parakletos". HE is “The Holy Spirit". Good bye to “The Holy Spirit”. You are a figment of Benny Hinn’s imagination!
Thus, we are down to two (2) again. Now, some more choice verses:
John 10:30 (AMP) - I and the Father are One.
Mark 12:29 (AMP) - Jesus answered, the first and principal one of all commands is: Hear, O Israel, The Lord our God is one Lord;
Jesus Himself acknowledges that there is only one God, and that he and that God is one. Thus, Jesus is THAT God (according to him)!
So, we are down to ONE (1) again.
How do I get rid of THIS god? Well, you will have to wait and see.
BUT WAIT!!! Did I not promise in the beginning of this article I will get rid of the Christian God? Yes I did...he is done. Christians are worshiping a false God...a being that does not exist. They are worshiping a triune god that does not exist ANYWHERE in the bible!
Next, I will get rid of that pesky hell that most people fear.
