Heyneke Meyer has opted to select a good portion of his former team the Blue Bulls; it come as no suprise as we have seen selectors favor the Pretoria based team. Chilliboy has been in the team for years and I honestly do not see why.
The Bulls led by Pierre Spies who was a candidate to captain the Boks against England,slumped to a defeat to the inform Stormers,now it begs the question, why so many Bulls?
Kolisi of the Stormers has had an amazing debut season,and did not get the nod,Gio Aplon the blitzing winger was also left out for reasons only Meyer understands, whilst Wynand Olivier the hapless centre finds himself in the team as he and Meyer were once part of the same set up.
Now some of his selections were spot,but those players actually pick themselves.
The selection process really needs to be explained to the fans who come out in large numbers in green and cold to support our beloved Boks.
