Braam Hanekom's second mislead of Malema

05 September 2013, 09:15

Recently I wrote an article “Braam Hanekom’s mislead on Malema’s movement” responding to the DailyMaverick's opinionsta Braam Hanekom and I didn’t make my last point understandable.

Braam said that “If Malema had support himself, then he would launch his group in Limpopo, but even in Seshego his cult has no members.” Well Mr Braam, he is our respond to you; when ANC was launched or introduced, it was never launched in Nelson Mandela’s hometown, it was never launched in John Langalibalele Dube, it was never launched in Oliver Tambo’s hometown. Again the DA never launched in Helen Suzman’s hometown, Agang didn’t launch in Mamphela Ramphela’s hometown and neither did COPE launch in Terror Lekota’s hometown. So why must EFF be divergent from the above mentioned political movements and launch at leader’s hometown?

If Zuma’s cults had support in Nkandla, then why is Nkandla under the IFP leadership? Most leaders do not have concrete support in their birthplaces, but that remain debatable.

“It is undeniable that many of his comments belong in the comic/entertainment sections, but his remarks seem to help newspapers sell.” He said. When former ANC president Mandela was funny in his days, was his comments supposed to belong to the comic/entertainment sections Braam? When President Zuma’s illiteracy showed, was it also supposed to belong to the comic/entertainment section? I don’t think so Mr Hanekom.

Braam also said “Malema and his personality cult have failed to show any evidence of living in a way that economically assists our people.”  Okay there’s a great blame there, but when Tony Yengeni (ANC’s NEC member) drives a Maserati car, does that show evidence in ‘economically assisting’ people? When Jacob Zuma made a culvert (tunnel) for his COWS worth of 1M+, does that show any evidence in ‘economically assisting’ people(human beings, not cows)? When he took all taxpayers money to build a R250M house, does that in any living evidence show assistance economically? When Cyril Ramaphosa (ANC’s Deputy President) bought a BUFFALO for a whooping R20 million, does that have any evidence in ‘economically assisting’ people (human beings, not buffalos)? I can mention to you many of other things your own leaders in ZANC does which does not ‘economically assist’ people.

“Malema is the be-all and end-all of this group” he said, well one thing we are all about to find out is that Mandela is the be-all and be-end of ZANC, if not so, then why is ZANC using his image for the upcoming election instead of Zuma’s image? Why aren’t members in ZANC canvassing using the Zuma’s image? Who is fooling who here?

“It has exposed itself as a platform for Julius Malema, rather than a political organization of members” he said, Braam has Agang also exposed itself as a Mamphela Ramphela’s flatform? Because Ramphela publicly told everyone that Agang was never meant to be a political party, but a platform for politics. When ANC was introduced, it was also presented as a platform to give John Langalibalele Dube and Oliver Tambo a better voice to shout for freedom and eventually it ended becoming political party years later. So why mustn't the “Malema group” be exposed as a platform for Julius Malema? Why must we be different?

Lastly Mr Hanekom, does this "malema's group" have an official name, or must we follow your denomination and still call it as "malema's group?"

Braam Hanekom’s article can’t be comprehended. I conclude that it was written to perceive his existence within the ZANC party, which is a very meager political score which lacks probity. History will remember Braam Hanekom as the ZANC member who wrote the famous Malema article and saw all imperfections of the Economic freedom fighters before it was launched. We will prove you wrong.

Longevity to all the economic freedom fighters. Julius Malema loves you all.

Asijiki!
