CSP in Solidarity with PrePuke: The Pretoria witch burning

04 March 2014, 07:57

There once was a newspaper named after a statue. Let's call her Lot's wife. Ms Lot had a big struggle in the sense that she had to keep looking back in order to remain current. But she needed to keep looking back in a way that kept her readers engaged. The readers mainly consisted of one minority group - a group with a serious fetish for playing the victim. A group turned on by fear. A group constantly waiting in joy and agony to be persecuted.
This fear of extinction were kept alive through Biblical debates, and coverage of a total onslaught on the lives and language of this group. Like any respectable tabloid should, Ms Lot always tried to stick to facts, but only the ones that satisfied this fetish. As a rule, Ms Lot avoided covering news concerning this group within a broader context, as that would diminish the persecution factor. Being stuck in this state of purgatory made more financial sense.
Yet, numerous contributors to Ms Lot occasionally dared to try something else, such as reporting unfavourably about factions within this minority group. One such faction was called the Cult of the Primaria. This cult was actually diverse - although the majority of it's members were part of the minority group, a small delegation within represented the majority. Ms Lot deemed it her duty to highlight an incredibly offensive display of ignorance by this cult. Although the display lasted only a few seconds, it was enough to seriously hurt a global minority group.
The criticism this display evoked highlighted a very painful fact: the fact that the cult members were the victims of a very shitty education system, called PrePuke. Members of broader society empathised with the cult: 'What went wrong? PrePuke has seriously let our kids down!' Broader society, with the help of Ms Lot, were ready to forgive on condition that the cult acknowledge their booboo and improve their level of societal consciousness and understanding of social taboos. It seemed like the cult was ready to cooperate.
Yet, some witch burners from Pretoria came and used their magical powers to turn this incident into a crime scene, incriminating Ms Lot for letting down half her readership. Let's call them CSP, Crap Spewers Pretoria. They further used their influence and power to put words in the mouths of concerned authorities. Last mentioned's plea to the ( diverse) cult to act more sensitively towards others and to tone down their Primaria worshipping mysteriously became an onslaught on the minority's language. CSP even downplayed the potential pain the Primaria Worshippers' ignorance could cause another global minority group. They also convinced the cult that nothing lacked with their education.
This encouraged many minorities, both within and outside the Primaria Cult to remain petrified of change, because embracing a more diversity aware attitude could lead to a state of Sodom and Gomorrah. CSP practically usurped Ms Lot in selling the drama of victimhood. In celebration of their victory of ignorance, they used Ms Lot to create a bonfire. CSP along with many of the minorities danced all night around the flames, in solidarity with the Primaria Cult, chanting: 'FAK this shit, PrePuke, PrePuke...' Their state of mind remained seemingly innocent, without looking back or forward - willfully and arrogantly ignorant. Their victory became an orgy to satisfy that much needed fetish for persecution...

It is extremely worrying that the 6th Session of the Pan African Parliament (PAP) which sat between 18-27 May 2015 did not explicitly discouraged the concerning behaviour of the Burundian President Mister Pierre Nkurunziza who has made international mockery of Africa for wanting a third term in Office. Read more...
