I like how those guys sweat when someone starts being “exorcised”.
The expulsion or attempted expulsion of an evil spirit.
Let me start by getting out of the way the only “proof” Christianity really has that there is something like a “ghost vs real world” truth. My skin crawled when I first saw the exorcist. Maybe my age at the time was a bit too immature to really handle such images. But I watched it, along with IT on BOB TV and got really scared. The problem I did not have though, was believing or considering believing in these suggestions of a ghoulish ether. At that time I was 13 or 14 and already dismissed the whole fallacy behind supernatural forces as a whole, but still I kept hopeful.
I would like you to stop for a moment and visualize a person in the middle of a “successful exorcism” and just pause on the facial expression of such an individual at the moment it seems at the worst point. So, we have this person probably snarling and biting at the praying dominee, teeth baring, spit coming out of their faces with the mom crying hysterically in the corner of the bedroom.
“Mumbo jumbo ixpus, Pilatus” whatever Latin dribble this man continues to chant at a very boring and one toned voice just continues to infuriate and evoke anger from the would-be-satanist. Now the bastard breaks out a vial of blessed water and he start spraying this already angry individual in the face with it.
I promise you, and remember when I say I never break a promise. I promise you that if you ever to tie me up and start doing all that to me that you are bound to have a slightly annoyed 6’7’’ 110kg man with an already short fuse very upset. And at that point, as mentioned in the last paragraph when the water starts splashing about the only thing that is going to stand between you and my hands around your neck will be the restraints keeping me bound. Let’s just say you will have to disappear before I ever get loose because I will send you to your maker.
Let us just add the very likely possibility that the “Satanist” bound to that bed will have some form of substance addiction. In some of these cases these people add a lot of distress to the poor person in the middle of a withdrawal that the situation is aggravated to such extremes that these people die from heart attacks. Controlled heroin withdrawals on neutral spiritual grounds almost always seem like someone is being “exorcised” due to the ill health effects of such endeavors. We should therefore take note of this “little proof” these guys have and realize the true evil behind “exorcisms”.
2. The Devil shows himself why does God not do the same?
The likelihood of my childhood dominee liking me as a person was probably nil. I could see the look in his eyes he did not show to other good kids I received every time I asked him something I was “Not suppose to ask”. They really did have a taboo list of topics in Sunday schools which were rather not up for debate or would have been quickly dealt with and moved on to the next topic. I liked sticking to one thing if I did not understand it because I strangely wanted to have the bible make sense to me.
“Why does god not show himself to me”
Was usually met with the same rhetoric, “blah blah,, this and blah blah that, faith, bleh bleh”. But sometimes, just sometimes they made the mistake of confessing that the devil likes to show himself like he did to jesus.
Oooh, now this got my attention.
So I did not like the idea of being a Satanist, considering all the vile stuff they do like rape and animal sacrifice and what not. The orgies seemed okay, but considering the neighborhood on the other hand that would also have proven to be a bit too traumatic for a 16 year old. Then also the idea of tripping out on drugs to get my proof did not seem logical because with those things I’m sure one is bound to end up meeting jesus himself.
Shit, apparently the devil shows himself and I would love for him to just come out and prove the validity of god and jesus but I just don’t see myself getting mixed up with the wrong types.
Then to my aid I stumbled across a very humble “religion” called paganism. The church condemns it as a play of satan so surely he will manifest himself in these teachings also. Thank zues these okes do not eat cat and eat A4 size sheets of LCD. Here I will find my proof.
Turned out even paganism, wiccusm, cattism and every other faith out there is full of shit. Nothing, no fairies, no working spells, no apparitions, just a bunch of crazy people with nice smelling smoky sticks and too many candles. Seriously, get some bulbs and electricity. Those candles are a big hazard.
So no, not even the devil has the means or balls to come out and play a bit.
I maintain. There is no supernatural world out there barring the unknown natural wonder that is our Universe. And we will come to a point where our story in this mystery fits in, but that time is not now.
