I was taking my girlfriend to work when my throttle cable broke.
Slowly I was striding at 15km/h when I saw these guys working as car washer behind the public library. I stop and asked if they didn’t have rope so that I can drive home at a faster speed else it would have taken an hour and I may have been shot by road raged drivers not wanting to trail me.
They went to fetch some rope for me but unfortunately they had thrown it away on the previous day.
So he grabbed his shoes and gave me his shoelace he also helped me tie it to the throttle cable thus allowing me to throttle by hand to go fix at home.
Later that day I was still struggling to repair the cable I eventually managed and decided I will give those guus something.
I opened my closet and emptied all my shoes and old clothing. More than half my clothes, the half I rarely wear anymore I gave to them. Seriously was one of the best days I have had on my own in a while.
Just to see these guys grateful was a joy to me. If you do have any old clothing give It to them they need it more than you do.
You would located them near the front entrance of the Library at the entrance of the Sanlam centre’s parking area (Pick n Pay) Kimberley
