Charles Dumbwin where art thou?

13 June 2014, 09:11
Having scanned a few articles around here I have come to the conclusion that we have lost the spunk we once knew on here.
The regulars around here will remember just how educational the religious debate became when the arguments were fueled by a good troll like Charlie Dumbwin.
Who of you still remember Nancy? The Old Bird that taught Christians how to dress for church?
But seriously now. We need a Christian troll with exceptional debating power like Charles had to educate people that are in search of the truth. We have of the best educated atheists anywhere to be found on the Net around here but what we need is someone with a huge amount of wit to ignite the religious debate again.
I believe the religious debate opened up the minds of so many confused people and sadly the real education is lost when atheists try and be too clever or condescending.
Christians or should I say, most religious come from a very primitive mindset and we need someone that really understands that particular mindset to ignite a debate that would open up new doors to the religious.
There can be nothing more liberating than shedding the shackles of religion and start exploring one's own strengths.
