Christian Peddlers of God?
There’s this dude (or maybe dudette) that refers to each Christian that intimidates him as “Just another professional (I make my money peddling god) Xian”. He keeps copying and pasting this same comment all over the place. Yes, one of their typical tactics that is so old and worn now (the copying and pasting in EVERY single article tactic) it is getting tedious.
It got me thinking, if he thinks that every Christian is someone making their money peddling God, then why are not all Christians full-time ministers? Why are there more Christians GIVING to their respective churches and ministries and causes, than peddling God, as he claims? Doesn’t he know that the ratio of full-time ministers versus congregation/members is very, very small? I mean, in a church of 100, maybe 1 or at most a few pastors. Maybe not even full-time. Even in a big church, of let’s say 1000, or even 100,000 people, the RATIO of pastors versus congregation/members is VERY SMALL. You simply cannot have 100,000 full-time pastors serving a congregation of 100,000 (serving themselves?), or 99,999 pastors serving a congregation of 1 member. Is he really this dim-witted? Probably not.
He even copied and pasted this very same comment of me! And yet I give my tithes to the church from monies I do NOT get from the church, or from "peddling God" as he says! So I was wondering why he would think that I am a Christian making money peddling God. The answer was obvious: He doesn’t. It’s just another typical militant atheist strategy using exaggeration and repetition to paint ALL Christians in a bad light. It is getting easier and easier to spot them out now, and their lies and hypocrisy. Their tactics really are detrimental to their own cause in the long run as people become aware of them.
