It is a wonderful time of the year. A time for taking a break, a time for reflection, a time to reflect on the year that has passed and also a time that is very important for reflecting on the inner self, the spiritual being.
During this time of Christmas, certain groupings use this as an opportunity for religious divide conflict and proving a point. The religiously intolerant comes to the surface. Something neither Islam nor Christianity teaches, at all.
So let’s sit back and see what we can learn, from this time and from a messenger sent from the Almighty All-Powerful creator we believe in, and even those who don’t … read on.
This is an opportunity to reflect on a message that came from The Almighty via Jesus (Nabi Esa A.S). One of tolerance, forgiveness and an example to us all that one of the best of mankind can come from the humblest (poorest) of tribes, places or parents. The faith of a mother, the ordeal of a father. The slander of a family. Yet never they retaliated in anger or bloodshed. The all important message where someone opened his arms heart and home for a destitute couple.
May we take a moment to reflect on the life of a man who has truly suffered on this earth to show us all a better way?
Have a blessed Festive season to my Christian family, friends, colleagues and fellow South Africans. Let’s all be safe and look out for each other this time of the year.
