Comrades- Blame it on the"NEW" .

10 July 2012, 08:17

Comrades - Blame it on the struggle.

Recently we have seen quite a lot of service delivery protest and we have had this education book scandal, I have notice I shift in the way our politicians blame things.

I expected to hear  Congress of South African Trade Unions (Cosatu) general secretary Zwelinzima Vavi say that this is due to Apartheid, but so far so good , he instead  acknowledged weaknesses had emerged in progressive civil society organs and Cosatu itself in the past 18 years. He acknowledged the union federation should have been first to know that textbooks had not been delivered in Limpopo.

So is this a change we are seeing in our politicks, are the people in power finally getting it ?

Well it is about time!! I mean in 18 years they want to tell us that they could not make a difference in the schooling of ordinary, people.

Now lets see were what government department has made a deference in the last 18 years .

Number one on my list is SARS the finance ministry has really been efficient and has really been a pleasure doing busses with them, every thing in that department runs like clock work, and default on one tax payment and see how fast they will come to your assistance. I would go on to say that this department is and will always be the best run department of state. But How come this department runs so well I mean it had the same problems at the other departments. I mean Apartheid era SARS was set up for the minority tax payers in South Africa just like the department of education, it had the same obstacles it had to overcome.

So what am I saying, am I saying SARS is so efficient because they take our money? If this department fails, the gravy train funds dry up and we can’t have, the comrades sitting without funding can we!

They use to say Trevor Manual was the best minister in thabo mbeki’s cabinet and that under his tenure his department was the best run and also that that minister and economical policy was the reason South Africa had such I prosperous growth rate, well if he was so good, what the hell is he doing now? He is supposed to be this supper minister and in the cabinet overseeing the other departments , and they have been mediocre in there performance sparking service delivery protest that rivals Apartheid era uprisings hell in port Elizabeth hardly a week goes by with out mob justice in the town ships even featuring neclecsing . Last time we Saw People going on this badly on  how bad things in society was . Was in the day’s of PW Botha . So why can’t the super minister not get it rite?

AND Then there is the department of social welfare, this is a department responsible for keeping the ANC in Power – Now How do They do this. They pay People grants, lets say you have a baby and no work , then you are allegeable, foe the social grant , and wait, for every additional baby you have , the government will pay you more , hence the reason the government wants to use the “Wage subsidy to employers ” as youth subsidy for the unemployed, Now you may ask So what is the difference, a Wage subsidy would have enabled employers to hire more people with help of government, and a youth subsidy is plane and simple just giving the money to the unemployed. Why this route? Are they trying to buy votes?

It took the comrades 18 years to stop blaming it on apartheid, now lets see how long it takes them to admit that some of the decisions they are making is wrong

The current government reminds me of animal farm –were Some animals were more equal than animals , they have distorted their own views of why they took up the struggle and have become just like the fat pigs in animal farm ,just in it foe them self’s!

These people have forgotten who put them there and have , and occasionally, throw scraps  to the people working in the fields.

200 million for a toy plane to fly the wives around should prove it, these guys are only in it for themselves ,no wander the press is struggling  to stay in power every body whats that job - just look at the perks what a wonderful new struggle to the top
