If the prefix "con" is the opposite of "pro" does that make Congress the opposite of Progress?
Based on how poorly our African National Congress has been in getting anything tangible done, I'd have to say yes.
The government departments (with the exception of SARS) have the intelligence of an ice cube – added up.
I question, who pays money to an institution without first receiving an invoice or statement? Why then do Johannesburg Connect (can’t speak for other cities) feel they can insist public pay ‘what you think you owe’ without an invoice or your power will be cut? Personally last bill I received was 2010 – not due to a lack of pleading?
But still the Minister states “There is no crisis with the billing”????? The Congress are obviously in denial.
At the present moment the African National Congress are excited as they feel they will get school books to all children country- wide by Jan 2013.
Is this actually news worthy, or totally expected and necessary? No discussion, it should just happen. What happened in 2012, heads should have rolled.
African national Congress proves that Congress is the opposite of Progress.
