Darwin murdered God

05 May 2014, 14:37

I read that Albert Einstein said the following “If you explain science to someone you must be able to explain it in such a way that a six year old child can understand this.” I think this is wise words and a good start. I have supplied a link to an article on MyNews 24 that claim a few things about Christians and their psyche.

The first thing one notice is the usage of reports (empirical, verifiable, evidence) that tell us the world is a better place by none other than the UN. Now think about this: The very same UN, are telling us that global warming has reached catastrophic measures. Our fresh water supplies are under severe pressure. The ocean has been so depleted as to have serious effects on worldwide food supply, and so on and so on.

Who to trust? We do not all poses the same intellectual ability and there are many people in different walks of life. However you have wisdom from God that you can freely and abundantly tap into without having an M Degree or a PhD.

What was the alarm code for your house 30 to 40 years ago? What was the name of the armed response company that rushed to your aid when you pressed the panic button?  How often do you walk in town on the streets eating an ice cream on a breezy summer’s night, doing window shopping with your wife and kids?

If you had to give this serious thought and COMPARE what you can see and experience in your person and on your body so to speak, would you really BLINDLY believe what the UN or whoever is telling you?

Darwinian evolution states that man evolved from a primate with low intellect and limited capabilities inferior to man in all respects. If evolution is to be believed we evolved to a “higher” species. Should evolution not be an ongoing process? (The internet is abounding with “experts” in disagreement and agreement on this matter). I am of the opinion that it should be. After all why stop now?

Why are we not becoming better? I mean to say, should we not be much smarter intellectually, physically stronger, morally healthier? The strides that have been made are scientific improvements in medicine and technology for which I am immensely grateful. That science I will wholeheartedly support, but it has NOTHING to do with evolution. It is outside the body.

Now I will ask you once again, after thinking upon this. Do you really think we are improving on all fronts? What does evolution in essence claim? “Man evolved to a higher and better product of himself”. What does God say “You were great but you fell short of the mark and you are gradually becoming a weaker copy of what I made you from the beginning”.  Just for a moment think with your heart and answer truthfully which statement do you think holds more truth as you reflect on the past, looking at the lives your parents and grandparents lived?

I and very Christian I know live for today because we are commanded by God to love each day added to our lives below are a few reasons from the Bible why I do so with delight and great expectation.

I love my wife as we become the most intimate of friends because we become ONE FLESH. I love my children for they are a BLESSING from God. Daily, I cannot wait to worship with my brothers and sisters for that is why I was CREATED. I live for this day for it is a Gift from God. I am not needy or clingy for the hope of Glory is in me and I am never left nor forsaken and nothing can separate me from HIS LOVE.

The “flavour” of the month Neil deGrasse  Tysson on Dr. Carl Sagang “He was very inspirational and a most powerful influence. Dr. Sagan was as great as the universe, an effective mentor.”

Seeing a mere man as great as the universe smacks of needy and clingy.
