Data Billing Issues

Subject: RE: Data Billing Issues

ATT: SANRAIL

To whom it may concern

Today I am not going to berate you and run down your system. Even though we all know it has been implemented underhandedly.

I want to raise the issue of the data integrity that you are using to issue statements and invoices seeing that you admitted today 10.1.2014 in various news articles that there have been “some issues” with your data and that some complaints have merit.

I am assuming this is another lie on your part based on the thousands of complaints on various forums and sites E.G hello Peter and 1 million motorists refuse to pay eTolls ( on facebook)
Now seeing that you are not a corner café that can go and do a stock take to update and correct your erroneous error laden data base.

That so far has issued invoices that are full of contradiction and false information that is not based on fact or real time data transactions that are correctly date time stamped and correlated.

Please tell me how you are going to correct this with immediate effect.
I also want to know how and when you are going to reimburse motorists that were beaten in to submission and that just paid due to all your demands, intimidation and threats.

Seeing that so far you have not reimbursed various users for issues that were brought to your attention like cars that are not owned by the original owner anymore and prepaid users that have had too much deducted from their accounts just to list two of the thousands of data related complaints that I have seen on the web. And that I personally know about through various friends who have had the issues I have just mentioned.

I would also like to know if and how you are going to reimburse thousands of users who for some strange reason other than the threat of jail, blacklisting and having their lives ruined by your Nazi tactics. For all their time traveling time, phone calls and hours that your company has wasted with the erroneous and incorrect data that you have used on your invoices that they have tried to resolve to pay you your blood money.

Also how are you going to sort out data issues related to cloned number plates surely if the police / traffic department do not expect a road user to waste their time to track down every instance and every time a cloned number plate is used how can you? Back in the day many years ago all I had to do was just a simple email and one statement under oath in my case when I had an issue.

Surely if your so called Enatis information is correct you should be able to “identify that a vehicle reg is not associated to a certain car” and get the traffic department to apprehend the offending party seeing you know its movements in real-time?

Or is this not possible and the whole system is just a sham and that’s why you want to tag every single vehicle so your tag becomes the real unique identifier as your system cannot do what its intended to do?

Obviously based on the above there are not a few small data issues that are easy and quick to rectify. So I would like to know how it will be resolved “seeing you have had many years” To implement your so called first world tolling system that you were adamant worked 100% and that it was ready for your forced roll out on the citizens of South Africa.

Awaiting your response with baited breath!

One of the millions that oppose your thieving!
