Fellow South Africans, I would like to vote. As a responsible citizen that I am I would like to participate in changing the country and the only way I can do so is by choosing the leaders to lead the country and by voting for the party I believe is carrying the ideaolgy and objectives that will help for the betterment of the country. This is obviously done by someone who has a party and a perfect leader in mind.
I, as someone who has no party in mind, I had to take a step back and “which party could it be?” Then I got challenged. I found myself cracking my head and after long hours of thoughts, I still got even more troubled by the state of affairs and the kind of political parties we have, or shall I say, their ideas.
I took, therefore an initiative to look at each party individually with aims of finding positives about each party.
There I went
DA – Helen Zille
As a the main opposition party, by size of membership of course, I hoped for good. But I asked my self, what really are the main objectives of DA? What are they on about? What do they seek to achieve? Do they ever take time to make promises to us, even if it's false ones,? No they dont. Only thing they seem to exist for is to watch all the wrongs done by Jacob Zuma and his bunch (ANC) and run like they have no senses to the media and criticise. They dont even mind to march to somebody's door step, as they did with Jacob Zuma's town of Nkandla, just to go scream and hell for nothing. What a wasted energy? The sad thing they just yell, shout and criticise without putting or bringing the solution to us. They dont even make up believe to them as a great party to vote for.
Mrs Zille it is time to doing the lip service and go back to the drawing board and come up with objective you seek to solve for our country. And implement them.
Therefore I cant vote for DA.
ANC : Jacob Zuma
Less be said about this bunch. A party led by criminals, liers, deceivers, corrupt and self enrichment minded individuals. One wonders, what is the ANC mondate to date? If we go back in time, their mondate was to liberate the black man from the hands of the oppressor and they suceeded in that. THANK YOU. Now, the thought came, looking at the state of affairs within the party, do they have the next mandate? They have no clue. They are hopeless. Or is it they have ran out of leaders who would fight for the right course?
Nelson Mandela had a rainbow nation in mind and he delivered that. He was not about black nor white. He wanted to see us all in peace and harmony.
Thabo Mbeki come up with African rennaissence. And he devoted time and did all efforts. He was then dubbed as a capitalist because his economic policies.
Jacob Zuma. What does he have to show? What economic policies does he have? What ideas does he have for the country? Socialists? Eat without planting so as to reap more? Free giving of stuff? Or his ideology is self enrich and marry more while you can?
ANC has got no mandate hence it just needs to desolve as a party. They should be focusing and economic emancipation, moral regeneration but they cant because they all have lost morals. Mr Vavi must consider running for presidency. I dont know what happened to my president Mr Trevor Immanuel.
I cant vote for ANC.
IFP – Mangosuthu Buthelezi
I can never vote for a cultural party. This is not a political party than a party that is mandate is on Zulu culture and customs . They must focus on that.
I cant vote for IFP.
National Freedom Party. Magwaza msibi
A new kid on the block. Groomed and raised by the values and principles of IFP. What makes them different from IFP? Zulus respect, love and honor their culture. What makes her different from the IFP?
I cant vote for NFP.
PAC – Stanley Mokgoba
Africa for Africans. I pleaded with them. Please can you define an African for me. It's black people, they answered, indirectly. So what do you suggest?Chase the white, pink, purple and yellow away? Anyway, does this party exist? I feel pity for the hard work by Mangaliso Sobukwe.
I cant vote for PAC
UDM – Bantu Holomisa
Kicked out of ANC. Did I ever get to know what they exist for? Did they become visible in the South African shores? I asked my 10 year old son, “boy have you have heard of UDM?”. No dad it's MDC from Zimbabwe. I rest my case.
I cant vote for UDM
COPE – Shikota.. (Shilowa/Lekota)
A bunch of power mongers who left the ANC when they lost their positions. They dont want to be led. They dont want to be obedient and submissive to no one. It's all about them and positions not people of the country. It tell you why Shilowa and Lekota are fighting about the position. It was a party formed on empty ideas.
I cant vote for COPE
AWB – Who ever the leader is after Telebranch
They think everything is all about white. They think whites are only humans that seem to exist in South Africa and the rest is farm workers to be treated like dogs. Anyway hold on, are they a polical party or a bunch of rebels who are promoting the boer nation? All they exist for is to chance and kill everything that is black.
I cant vote for AWB
I then went to the IEC web site to look to see I cant find any party I can waste my vote on. None to be found. If ID for Patricia Dellile existed still, they were garaunteed of my vote. But they have since been swallowed DA. She was a strong woman and let her dream die so quick.
Registered parites http://www.elections.org.za/content/Pages/Registered_Parties/Registered-Parties.aspx
Forming a party these days in just a way to make an income? Remember political parties are full of people who deserted school and now have to find easier and quicker ways to make money.
I there have no reason to vote.
That therefore means, we elite of the country, black and white united, have a challenge in our hands. Can we be bold enough to put our differences aside and work towards one goal. Shall we form a party and call it “Independent Elites” and challenge these crinimals that are leading us. I am sure we can make this country a better place for all.
Who is with me?
