Dear Minister of Police: Before it's too late.

11 June 2014, 11:13
Before it's too late, let's take back tomorrow for the sake of our children.
Before our streets turn into dead roads roamed only by ghosts at night
And our homes turned to greenhouses because outside the criminals rule.
Before our homes become prisons and we serve time instead of tea
Because outside the criminals rule

Let's take back tomorrow,
Before the farms turn into barren land, and crops begin to wilt
Before the nation goes hungry because the farmer has died
Killed by those hungry for blood and money and not for food
Killing and torturing without thinking about the future of the nation
Just satisfying a hunger of a dangerous type
Torturing and starving the nation in the process.

For the sake of our health, let's destroy drug houses and drug lords.
Those that have destroyed families and torched the future
Leaving a brother numb, useless and clueless, and a sister naked on the streets
Living a drug fueled life of prostitution and confusion.

Let's take back our future and take control of our prisons
Turn them into rehabilitation centres and not criminal grooming centres.
Let them groom the weak to become better persons
And not groom them to be better, wiser and advanced criminals.
A tear rolls down a fathers cheek when he can't provide a future for his children
But his taxes feed and educate the same criminal who killed his wife.
Let's stop this before it's too late.

A gang-rape victim on life support dies, when suddenly the lights go off.
The cable thieves have struck again! A second blow that finally takes her life.
Children stop going to school, their parents died during a hijack.
A second blow to their lives, no parents, no education and no future.
They are all but doomed in this life.
Let's take back the future and stop this before it's too late
