Dear Mr President, do something its not too late!

24 March 2014, 07:08
Dear President Jacob Zuma! Let me remind you what you said about African housing project – “The government had failed millions of people who were living "like pigs" in informal settlements, and efforts to explain to them why this was so after two decades of democracy would be meaningless"..."Our goal is to build basic quality Subsidy Housing (RDP Housing) and replace all shacks in South Africa by providing low cost housing construction technology to build quality Subsidy low-cost homes or RDP with Alternative building methods creating employment
"Train the unemployed to build for the homeless."

Well, how many millions of poor could live in decent circumstances now,if the few hundred millions of Tax payers Rands you spent on your "home improvement" would have been spent on the people's housing improvement. How do you sleep lately Mr President? I suppose your concious is clear. Shame on you Mr President. There are developed and civilised countries in the world where politicians are forced to resign, because they spent 2 bottles of wine on government credit card. For this steal, Mr President don't you think the least you could do is to apologise, resign and open your gates, doors, pools etc. to the public and let the homless move in. This could be the world's first and you could have a chance to be remembered for at least ONE good things you've done for South Africa. Don't miss this opportunity, this is your last chance! Sleep well Mr President!

Majority poverty

Being a majority has its advantages and disadvantages, based on various aspects of demographics the citizenry. As far as services are concerned it will always be the minority who will benefit most from government as their numbers can be serviced with the least of money, amenities in their areas will last longer be kept in working order better because of the low demand for it, while on the other hand in the areas of majority it is the excessive usage of services which causes numerous breakdowns and eventually no services. Read more...
