So I see Oscar has smashed more records at the Olympics.
I'm like: "yayayay! go booitjie!"
The dude overcomes who-knows-what to get where he is, is a great role model, a wonderful human being and a disciplined, focused sportsman.
Then I read comments by idiots who seem irritated by the fact that Oscar was allowed to compete in both Olympics.
So, idiot, let me help you.
If you take a close look at any full length picture of Oscar, you will note something different. Yes, very good! He has NO LEGS.
This is what immediately, regardless of your ignorant idiocy, qualifies him for the Paralympics.
But wait, there is more.
This guy, with NO LEGS, overcomes impossible odds and through focus, determination and huge brass balls QUALIFIES for the 'normal' Olympics.
Note the word 'qualify'.
That is not a farce, or something unfair, or hax or whatever stupidity the critics can think up, that is AWESOME!
If others with disabilities use Oscar's achievement as an aspiration then it is one of the greatest sporting achievements in history!
The guy is removing stumbling blocs in the minds of other paralympians and proving once again that no dream is impossible to achieve.
Really man.
This guy is our brother! He is a fellow South African.be proud of him, he is representing YOUR lazy ass.
If you think you can do better, do better. otherwise put a cork in it.
