There are three things the world cannot offer you, yeah four things that only God can guarantee:
a) Rest for your soul
b) Peace for your mind
c) Comfort for your heart
d) Security for your life.
The world is so cold, cruel and very unfriendly. It's practices leave you dry and empty. It's advices are vain. It's words are lies. Its ways are unreliable. Its promises fail. And it feeds on your substance and value. Yeah, it is constantly hovering for the weaklings. It has no guarantees, everything is a risk.
But those who trust in the Lord, they have escaped its destruction. Those who trust in God shall never be disappointed. Prov 3: 5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not in your own understanding. His ways are clear and there are no hidden agenda's. All cards He displays on the table. His love is pure and his intentions are sincere.
Don't put your trust in man and don't blame them when they fall short. For they also have been swallowe dup by the world system and are weak like you.
Even if God seems slow for our immediate gratifications, let us hang on to Him. The world is waiting for you to make the mistake so that is can swallow you up. My prayer is that in whatever I do or decide; God should let me step out there.
