It seems that South African drivers are getting worse by the day.
We hear of Road Rage in the news, but I can understand why people get angry on the roads. Some drivers out there are just clueless of the implications of their actions.
I went to the shopping mall this morning , and saw a young guy in his fancy german car , music pumping, casually pulling into a disabled parking. Then when I left - I noticed another.
It seems that our richer BEE brothers think that their fancy Mercs gives them the right to do this.
Then on the way home, I was trying to do a right turn at a robot. The light turned green - but I couldn't even move forward.
The oncoming lane had one turning lane, but people were turning from the non-turning lane , blocking the path of us. This is another thing that's happening with increasing frequency - drivers thinking that they have the right to do this. It actually can cause traffic jams and much frustration.
And finally , another common thing.
The person who drives at 80 in the fast lane, normally on his phone, causing a massive traffic pile up and much frustration behind him ( Especially if there are trucks in the slower lanes ).
These idiots are worse than the Taxi's are are totally clueless of the problems that they cause. It seems that the basic rule of "Keep Left" isn't being followed anymore.
When I see these things , I actually wouldn't mind seeing someone get road rage and beat up these disgusting drivers.
