Dismantle the competition watchdog In SA Miss Ramphele ....

07 February 2014, 09:06
In South Africa we have no such thing as competition, It is non existent.

The Pick & Pays, No matter their size or profits all charge the same price for their products. Tanzer transport does the entire pick & Pay distribution. 1 Company benefits the lot.

Coca cola owns the cold drink monopoly, With ABI taking care of all the distribution. Again , 1 company .
Electricity provided by 1 company namely eishkom.

One TV service provider being Multichoice , Just 1 serving a nation ?

Very few mining licenses yet we have more minerals than most countries in the world. We are supposed to be one of the richest countries in the world.

Our petroleum demand is supplied half by Sasol while the other half gets imported ? No competition with the world, we pay fixed prices for fuel.Yet we have our own refineries ? Why ?

Why does Botswana get our fuel and get it for near R3 less per litre ?

The only way to fix SA is to create a open market and allow for policies that welcome competition. Not just a few thieves sharing the loot.

Multichoice makes Billions, why not share the market ?

Our banks are all talking the same tune, pretending to be different. The banks don't compete in SA, We are all victims of continuous price fixing and price increases in SA.

Competition watchdog is a useless body that fines people and does what with their loot?

Sanral and the construction companies that over charged SA maybe 100 times for 1 simple road and a few toll points was unnecessary.

We need a competition board for what ?

We need better thinking in SA .

I have skills and brains , yet I find life pretty tough at times. What chance does a matriculant have with our non working system is SA.

We needed 10 cell phone licenses in SA long ago, The market was here , each person in SA has a phone, do the maths.
Ramphele. I was hoping you and Zille understand this?
If you guys do not see this then I cant vote for you chaps, Il rather not vote either, I need someone to do something about this in SA.
Create opportunity and welcome business , How else ?
